Our Company History
We are a full service electrical and energy company offering a range of turnkey and specialist electrical contracting work both nationally and internationally. Senior management founded ‘Mutech Electrical Partnership’ in 2001 to offer electrical services to its continually growing client base. In 2003 after a period of organic growth the company expanded to become what it is today, a leading expert in electrical contracting and energy related services working across the SADC region particularly in South Africa. In 2012 the company started taking on public sector projects for government departments and State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) for Electrical and Energy related work. Since 2015 Mutech has continued to grow its client base and expand, managing larger and more complex jobs, while retaining its core values and services. Over this time the company has also expanded internationally and positioned itself in new market segments by specialising in technologies such as renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Our Work
Mutech Electrical’s experienced team specialises in electrical contracting work for commercial, retail and industrial clients ranging from large blue chip companies to small and medium enterprises plus government departments. Mutech Electrical recognise that the key to running a successful business is understanding our customers’ needs and meeting their expectations. This can only be achieved through effective communication between our staff and our clients. Mutech Electrical have developed a robust yet simple delivery methodology for quality and consistent project delivery. We appoint a dedicated project manager for each job who ensures that there is clear communication of the needs and requirements across the project team; provides oversight of the delivery of the project to the client’s specifications and oversees the design and electrical engineers throughout the project. Mutech Electrical’s head office is in Fairland, Johannesburg which positions us perfectly to meet the needs of our national clients. Mutech also operates internationally, servicing the Zambia, Zimbabwe and Malawi within the SADC region.

Our Leadership
Musaka Mboroma
Founder
Musaka was a self-motivated, meticulous Electrical Technician with over 35 years of experience in managing projects. Musaka studied Electrical Engineering at Nortech College and gained a HND. During this time he worked for Zambia Airways and qualified as a Site Engineer and subsequently became a Site Manager. Musaka joined Manyane Electrical in 1992 as an Electrical Technician and in 1998 was appointed as a Director. When Musaka left Manyane Electrical and founded Mutech Electrical where he was the Managing Director and stayed hands on. Musaka had experience in managing large commercial and industrial electrical projects in South Africa and the SADC region.
Chisenga Mboroma
Administration, HR & Internal Operations
Pamela is qualified to a Higher Diploma level and is a knowledgeable qualitative and quantitative researcher with experience of working in public, private and voluntary capacities. Pamela has management experience and is skilled at decision making, prioritising, budgeting, team development, networking and fundraising. Pamela joined Mutech Electrical in 2013 to help the business develop and widen its market and client base by utilising her research and excellent interpersonal skills. Now as the Internal Operations Manager she co-ordinates meetings and appointments, liaises with staff, suppliers and clients, and helps with the implementation and maintenance of office systems and procedures.
Generation, Renewable Energy, Efficiency and Energy Storage Systems
Since 2006 Mutech Electrical has added another portifolio to its services and specialised in renewable energy technology alongside its main electrical contracting work, offering customers a solution to their energy generating and efficiency needs. Mutech Electrical has designed and installed numerous renewable energy projects across South Africa and the SADC region from domestic solar installations to commercial Solar farm (e.g. parkade roofing) Mutech Electrical has practical experience and an in depth understanding of a wide range of renewable technologies.
